Planscape came to us with a site that was slow, converted nothing, and did none of the work a business needs a website to do. The homepage took around nine seconds to finish loading, on a mobile PageSpeed score in the mid thirties, and the product data underneath it was inconsistent enough that nothing could be changed in one place — every ordinary update turned into specialist work. Planscape Business Interiors supplies commercial furniture and fit-out — café booths, seating, tables — to trade and hospitality buyers, a market where the buyer is comparing suppliers and specifications rather than impulse-buying. A slow store loses that buyer before the catalogue has even rendered. There was nothing to optimise and nothing to build on: no speed, no conversion path, no search visibility, no paid presence. It needed rebuilding rather than patching.

A custom-coded storefront: WooCommerce underneath, but bespoke throughout rather than a theme with plugins bolted on, served from Bunny’s edge and answering in under a third of a second to first byte. The entire homepage is now 461KB across 54 requests — 22 JavaScript files, 12 stylesheets and a two-plugin install — against the nine seconds it used to take. Then the demand side, built to match — a custom PPC campaign, an SEO campaign and a purpose-built landing page rather than paid traffic pointed at a homepage and hoped over. The two halves are the point: the fast store makes the paid and organic traffic worth buying, and the campaigns give the store something to convert. It is early — the rebuild launched in July 2025 — and it is still climbing.
