A UK platform that calculates motorsport participants' season emissions and lets them buy carbon offsets, issuing certificates and competitor profile pages.
What they needed.
Racing Carbon Neutral needed a public-facing web platform to bring carbon neutrality to UK motorsport. Beyond a marketing site, it required member-facing functionality: free competitor registration and profile pages, an emissions calculator that totals a season's races, tests, track days and practices, an offset payment flow, and automated certificate/QR-code generation tied to each profile. The platform also needed to integrate with championship organisers so series can monitor and showcase competitor participation.
Our approach.
A content-driven site with member accounts and dynamic competitor profile pages, an emissions calculator that totals a season of racing, tests, track days and practices into a single carbon figure, and a paid offset checkout that auto-generates a certificate and QR code on completion. Organiser-facing tooling lets championships track which competitors are participating. It is a niche audience by design — carbon-neutral motorsport is a small, early market — so this is judged on the platform doing what it needs to for the people already in it, not on search volume.
