Racing Carbon Neutral
A UK platform that calculates motorsport participants' season emissions and lets them buy carbon offsets, issuing certificates and competitor profile pages.
What they needed.
Racing Carbon Neutral needed a public-facing web platform to bring carbon neutrality to UK motorsport. Beyond a marketing site, it required member-facing functionality: free competitor registration and profile pages, an emissions calculator that totals a season's races, tests, track days and practices, an offset payment flow, and automated certificate/QR-code generation tied to each profile. The platform also needed to integrate with championship organisers so series can monitor and showcase competitor participation.
Our approach.
Build a content-driven website with member accounts and dynamic competitor profile pages. Implement an emissions calculator that aggregates motorsport activity into a seasonal carbon total, then a paid offset checkout that, on completion, auto-generates a unique certificate and QR code published to the member's profile. Provide organiser-facing tooling so championships can track participating competitors, all under a clean, mission-led brand ("Motorsport with a clear conscience").
